My grandma’s own recipe! Whenever she comes into town my grandma always makes them and their gone within minutes! Serve them with jam and butter ( my grandma made homemade blueberry jam)!

SWITCH UPS!:

GLUTEN FREE: use gluten free flour in place of all purpose flour and use gluten free oat flour.

DAIRY FREE: use dairy free kefir or buttermilk and dairy free butter.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 cup buttermilk or kefir.

2 cups all purpose flour.

1 cup oat flour.

1/3 cup coconut flour.

1 tbsp cream of tarter.

1 tsp baking soda.

1/2 cup unsalted butter.

Pinch of salt.

1/3 cup coconut oil.

DIRECTIONS

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.

Roll out dough on a cutting board and cut out circles with a jar or cup. Then place biscuits in a baking dish.

Bake at 425°f for 10-25 mins or until golden brown. When knife inserted comes out clean there done.

ADD INS!:

JAM: my Grandma makes a delicious blueberry jam that has” sure gel” in it.

BUTTER: use a salted butter. I recommend amish or sweet cream butter.

BREAKFAST BISCUITS: put bacon, eggs, and sausage in the biscuit for a breakfast biscuit sandwich!

HONEY: honey is a favorite topping for biscuits in my family ,but do try it with the raw honey kind!

REAL MAPLE SYRUP: I bet it would be delicious on a biscuit just make sure it’s pure maple syrup:).
