Apple cinnamon granola

Apple pieces,ground cinnamon,warm toasted oats , sweet raw honey, and super healthy chia seeds make this granola a winner! When your hungry in the morning and a cold bowl of cereal just wont cut it… make this delicious granola to brighten up your morning!

What’s so great about this granola?

It’d so good and gluten free! I used organic apples and healthy chia seeds with just a touch of raw honey! The oats I used are gluten free!

What kind of apples did I use?

I used organic gala apples , but I only used half a apple.

What kind of oats?

There are many kinds of oats you can buy for example: rolled ,old fashioned,quick, but I used gluten free rolled oats!

Toasting on the stove top!

Apple cinnamon granola

Category: American

Serves: 2-4

ingredients

1/2 an apple , diced.

1 1/2 to 2 cups gluten free rolled oats.

1 tsp or more of chia seeds.

Extra virgin olive oil as needed.

2-3 tbsp coconut flakes.

Raw honey to taste.

Cinnamon to taste.

1/2 cup crushed walnuts.

DIRECTIONS

toast all the ingredients in a pot on medium high until fragrant and darker in color.

To serve

Serve on greek yogurt with mint or thyme to garnish.
