Warm fresh from the oven spelt buns sprinkled with oats and covered with butter and honey! Yummy!!

Make it Gluten free

Use gluten free flour.

Its dairy free!

Unless you use normal milk its dairy free!

Its organic

I used organic ingredients for optimum quality and flavor.

A spelt bun

What does organic mean?

Organic means no pesticides, no insecticides, not genetically modified (GMO),and no added growth products.

Dont have organic?

Then just use normal ingredients.

Makes: 8 buns

2 cups organic all purpose flour.

2 cups organic spelt flour.

1 packet of yeast.

2 tbsp organic sugar or honey.

1/4 cup lightly warm of water.

1 cup almond milk ( oat or coconut milk will work) in organic if at hand.

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil.

3 tbsp organic oats.

Pinch of sea salt.

pup it the yeast,water,and sugar or honey in a electric mixer. Let sit until foamy bubbles appear on the top.

Add the spelt and all purpose flour and mix.

Then add the sea salt,almond milk,and olive oil. Mix well.

Roll the dough with your hands into 8 buns and cover them lightly in olive oil.

Let the buns rise for 45 minutes or more until doubled in size or more.

Sprinkle with the oats.

Bake at 350°f for 20-25 mins.

Enjoy with butter and or honey if desired.
