
This is the second time I’m using asparagus so far and both my recipes have turned out great! To me asparagus tastes very similar to green beans and tastes good in most green bean recipes as well. However made my first batch of asparagus with lemon, garlic, and butter. This recipe was better then my first one and why wouldn’t it be when you add parmesan cheese to it?!
this recipe uses 5 simple ingredients… asparagus, vegan Parmesan cheese, sea salt, olive oil, and black pepper.
If you dont have asparagus
Use green beans in place of asparagus if you dont have it on hand or dont like asparagus.

Ingredients
Category: Italian/ American
Serves: 4-6
1 pack of fresh asparagus.
Vegan Parmesan cheese as desired.
Extra virgin olive oil for the pan.
Sea salt and black pepper to taste.

DIRECTIONS
In the olive oil in a pan saute the asparagus at medium high with the sea salt and black pepper.
When tender a slightly darker in color turn off the heat. Grate the parmesan cheese over top as desired.

Serve and enjoy!
