Greenest of green smoothies (vegan)

The month of st Patrick’s day is just around the corner and I need to get my greens!! If you don’t have green clothing at least have a green tummy!🍀

this smoothie is packed with healthy ingredients to get you moving in the morning (or evening).

green smoothie

Banana. You can hide anything in a smoothie containing banana, and I mean ANYTHING.
Spinach. Use 2 hood handfuls of the stuff it’s really good in this smoothie.
Spirulina. A powdered sea weed that is used to color foods but also boosts the immune system! (Trust me you won’t taste it).
Apple. 1 apple, cored. I like Fuji and gala apples.
Celery. Adds a little bit of saltiness.
Cranberry. The tart flavor is amazing in this smoothie.

Cucumber. A large cucumber works best and I used a grapefruit spoon to scoop out the middle.

Extreme immune boosting smoothie (vegan gf)

I love making immune boosting smoothies and they keep my immune system up so I can fight against germs. Hopefully you all eat well enough that you stay well and if not this smoothie will keep your health up no matter what you eat. 🍓

Immune boosting smoothie

Blueberries. I love using frozen wild blueberries because they have 2x the antioxidants.
Raspberries. Almost all berries have high antioxidants and vitamins.
Ginger. Fresh ginger has the best affect on the immune system.
Turmeric. If you can get your hands on some fresh turmeric it would be great! I used ground because I didn’t have fresh.
Spirulina. For those of you who don’t know what spirulina is. It’s a type of seaweed powder used for color but it also boosts the immune system.
Nut butter. I used sun butter (A nut free butter) ,but any nut butter will do.
Pineapple sage. Sage is said to balance the body and mind so I added some fresh for garnish. The flowers of pineapple sage are edible too and have a beautiful hot pink color.
