SWITCH UPS!:

NO LIMES: no worries just use juice 1 whole lemon instead of half. I even had to do this!

NO FRESH HERBS: it’s fine just use dried herbs or italian herbs.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 a lemon juiced.

1/2 a lime juiced.

1/4-1/3 cup olive oil.

Fresh oregano.

Fresh thyme

3 garlic cloves.

1 tsp sugar.

DIRECTIONS

Stir before pouring over a salad.

My grandma’s own recipe! Whenever she comes into town my grandma always makes them and their gone within minutes! Serve them with jam and butter ( my grandma made homemade blueberry jam)!

SWITCH UPS!:

GLUTEN FREE: use gluten free flour in place of all purpose flour and use gluten free oat flour.

DAIRY FREE: use dairy free kefir or buttermilk and dairy free butter.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 cup buttermilk or kefir.

2 cups all purpose flour.

1 cup oat flour.

1/3 cup coconut flour.

1 tbsp cream of tarter.

1 tsp baking soda.

1/2 cup unsalted butter.

Pinch of salt.

1/3 cup coconut oil.

DIRECTIONS

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.

Roll out dough on a cutting board and cut out circles with a jar or cup. Then place biscuits in a baking dish.

Bake at 425°f for 10-25 mins or until golden brown. When knife inserted comes out clean there done.

ADD INS!:

JAM: my Grandma makes a delicious blueberry jam that has” sure gel” in it.

BUTTER: use a salted butter. I recommend amish or sweet cream butter.

BREAKFAST BISCUITS: put bacon,eggs,and sausage in the biscuit for a breakfast biscuit sandwich!

HONEY: honey is a favorite topping for biscuits in my family ,but do try it with the raw honey kind!

REAL MAPLE SYRUP: I bet it would be delicious on a biscuit just make sure it’s pure maple syrup:).

SWITCH UPS!:

DAIRY FREE: use dairy free yogurt and dairy free buttermilk ( coconut milk plus lemon).

NO BUTTERMILK: use normal milk or kefir ( it can be dairy free if desired).

NO GARLIC: ok , but I’m warning you it won’t be as good!:)

ONION: you dont have to add it , but it’s very good in it then without.:)

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup full fat greek yogurt (cabot brand)

1/4 cup buttermilk

1 tsp chives

1 tsp parsley

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

Punch or more of black pepper

1/2 tsp tarragon,thyme,or italian herbs mix.

DIRECTIONS

Mix well

Enjoy!

SERVE WITH: crackers ,veggies,or chicken. On a salad or with chicken wings. ( I had it on a salad and by the finger tastings)!

This is my recipe for pie crust that’s a winner! This pie crust is super simple and not super salty with a touch of sweet.

SWITCH UPS!:

GLUTEN FREE: use gluten free flour ( I recommend king arthur gluten free flour).

DAIRY FREE: use dairy free butter or coconut oil might work ( if you use coconut oil tell me how it turned out)!

SUGAR FREE: leave it out, but it wont be as good.

I used organic ingredients ,but you can use normal even though it’s better for you as organic.

INGREDIENTS

2-3 tbsp sugar.

1 1/4 cup flour.

1/4 tsp sea salt (or a pinch of salt).

1/3 cup butter softened.

4-5 tbsp cold water ( if needed ).

DIRECTIONS

mix all the ingredients in an electric mixer until well combined. Then put in a greased pie dish and pour in filling of choice. Bake according to filling instructions. Enjoy!

Mediterranean salad

Iceberg lettuce, kalamata olives, sundried, tomatoes, and vegan pesto dressing! Ingredients Directions: Toss together lettuce, artichoke hearts, chickpeas, a few sundried tomatoes, and kalamata olives. Whisk together some pesto and olive oil. Drizzle over the salad and enjoy! I love serving this with pasta.

I have gotten addicted to freezing watermelon and using it in smoothies, sorbets, and vegan ice creams! Make sure to freeze the banana and watermelon the day before you make this. Serves: 1-2 Ingredients: Directions: Blend all the ingredients together in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Get your green on broccoli ,brussel sprout stir-fry!

Hey veggie lovers! This is a super healthy stir-fry that’s vegetarian and totally healthy!

Before I tell you the ingredients I’d like to say some things. First off if you want a good stir-fry do it the organic way and second do not over salt this believe me too much salt and brussel sprouts dont mix well!

1 small head broccoli

1 bag brussel sprouts ends cut off and cut lengthwise

Sea salt to taste

Extra virgin olive oil as needed

Pinch of onion powder

4 very small garlic cloves minced

1 large head of broccoli chopped

3-4 tbsp butter

Olive oil and extra butter for the pan

Black pepper to taste

1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder

Sea salt to taste

Half a lemon juice

Dried Italian spices to taste

At medium high in a skillet, melt some butter with olive oil. Then add the broccoli and the rest of the ingredients. Cook until broccoli is tender and taste lemony. Serve warm with grilled chicken or salmon and garnish with lemon slices.

Microgreens are a new thing so why not with avocado? So I added some on the avocado toast and it got way better!

First of all avocados have so many health benefits and adding microgreens makes it amazing for you!

Ingredients

1 avocado mashed

Sea salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Lemon juice to drizzle

Extra virgin olive oil to drizzle

Microgreens

2-4 slices healthy toast (whole wheat)

Spread the avocado on the toast.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Top with microgreens and lemon juice .

Finish with extra virgin olive oil.

Enjoy!

2 ingredient banana ice cream

What do you do with bananas that are so ripe they might go bad tomorrow? Well make ice cream! Who’s doesn’t love a couple scoops anyway!

A day in advance freeze 3 large bananas.

All you need is…

3 large frozen bananas peeled sliced

Coconut milk as needed

Under hot water peel the bananas.

Now slice the bananas and put them in a ice cream maker and turn on.

Then pour in some coconut milk as needed.

Mix until smooth and top with fresh bananas and cinnamon or some dairy free coconut whip cream!

Add ins crushed pineapple

Coconut flakes

Sliced strawberries

Mango chunks

Chocolate chips

Enjoy!

Best ever peach cobbler

The best peach cobbler! I made this recipe in a cast iron skillet even though it’s hot it was old fashioned and delicious!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour

1 29 oz can peaches (2 cans)

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tbsp baking soda

1/2 tbsp cream of tarter

4 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy whipping cream

Salt to taste

Preheat oven to 375°f

For topping

Mix the flour,sugar;salt ,baking soda,and cream of tarter in a large bowl. Set aside.

For the bottom

Mix the peaches,cinnamon,and a little sugar in the cast iron skillet.

Finish the topping

Mix in the butter and cream into the the topping mixture. Then place topping over the peaches.

Bake at 375°f for 40 mins until golden brown.
